The Gods

The Pantheon of Solethania is comprised of a variety of Deities and Demigods. They can and have directly interacted with the world throughout history as Avatars. The deities have a hierarchical structure, and each level of Deity draws its power from the ones beneath it.

At the top of the hierarchy are Life (Cxalla) and Death (Thaan), they are literal aspects of the universe and have no true discernible form other than the universe itself. Even in Avatar form, they cannot blend in with mortals. Beneath them are ten Major Gods. They are the Aspects which encompass the entirety of a Domain. They cannot show themselves on the material plane without the use of an Avatar as doing so would severely damage the world. However, they can blend in with mortals in their Avatar form should they so desire. Beneath the Major Gods, there are numerous Minor Gods and Demigods, and those do have forms that can be safely seen on the Material Plane, however they tend to hide their form in Avatars as well.
